Negotiations
March 11, 2018
Curated by artist Alana MacDougall, Negotiations opens a discussion of gender, sensuality, vulnerability and unbalanced power dynamics – topics that are at the forefront of our political and personal consciousness. Policy makers seek to reinforce traditional gender roles, disadvantage women, and oppress minority communities. As the personal is pulled into the political sphere, we are called on to resist violations of our rights with vigilance. Works on view include sculpture, still-life photography, and other media.
