Puffin Cultural Forum Performance Proposal Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in the Puffin Cultural Forum. This document describes the information we need to assess applications for performances, exhibitions, and events in our space. We accept proposals for music, theater, dance, spoken-word, film, lectures, etc. Artists and curators can also submit proposals for fine art exhibitions. The Puffin Cultural Forum seats up to 100 people and is equipped with theater lighting, sound system, projector, and an S4 Yamaha grand piano.

In order for us to review your proposal, we require the following information emailed to

  • Description of the event you are proposing. A short explanation of the type of event, educational/artistic objectives, # of artists, repertoire, tech needs, performers, bios, and instrumentation.
  • Samples of the work to be submitted. Online links to audio, video and/or visual.
  • Complete contact info. Please include address, email, cell phone, and website
  • A description of the event and its relation to social issues, community, cultural issues, and themes that advance social change (if applicable.)

Once we receive your proposal, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt from us. Please understand that due to the large number of submissions we receive, we cannot say yes to all proposals. All materials submitted will be given full consideration. Incomplete applications will not be considered. All proposals must be emailed to or mailed to Puffin Cultural Forum, 20 Puffin Way, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
