The Ron Jackson Quartet returns to the Puffin stage to perform jazz standards and original compositions, including three new songs to be released on a new EP. Jackson is one of a handful of master jazz guitarists known for playing the seven-string jazz guitar.

Performing with Ron Jackson on stage are Eric Person (saxophone), Radam Schwartz (organ), and Steve Johns (drums).

Having performed, recorded, and taught music in over 30 countries, Ron Jackson most recently produced, composed, and played on Kevin Powell’s GRAMMY Award-nominated album, “Grocery Shopping With My Mother”. With a discography of more than 10 albums starting with his debut album “It’s A Guitar Thing (Muse)” in 1992, Jackson’s most recent release, “Standards And My Songs,” hit the Top 10 on the JazzWeek radio chart in 2022, and it is his second album recorded exclusively with a seven-string guitar.
