The Puffin Cultural Forum presents an exhibition of photographs of the jazz greats who called Teaneck home. Come experience Teaneck’s jazz history and see the unearthed photographs of local legends such as Nat Adderley, Milt Jackson, Donald Byrd, Thad Jones, Pat Boone, Ben E. King, Roland Hanna, and many more. The select photographs are taken from the more than 800,000 negatives that Teaneck native and renowned jazz photographer Chuck Stewart accrued during his storied career and life, scanned and brought to life for the very first time for this special exhibition.

This dynamic exhibition has songs and interviews with musicians’ family members associated with each photograph, which viewers may listen to by scanning the QR codes in the photograph labels. For a private listening experience, headphones and adapters can be acquired from gallery staff.

PLEASE NOTE: N95 or equivalent masks required. Limited quantity will be available at the door for those without one.

This exhibition will be on view from March 15th to May 31st. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Thursday, 11:00am – 4:00pm. To visit outside of regular hours, please email us at or call 201-836-3499.
