The book conveys memorable stories of soldiers transformed into peace activists\, offering creative responses to seemingly endless wars and threats of war. \nThe evening features poetry readings by veteran poets and activists Jan Barry\, Tara Krause\, Walt Nygard\, James Yee\, and others; music by the Solidarity Singers; and a display of artwork by veterans affiliated with Frontline Arts\, including Barry\, Erickson\, Krause\, Nygard\, and Yee. \nA Teaneck resident and retired Bergen Record reporter\, Jan Barry is the author of more than a dozen books of poetry and prose\, including Waging Art: Tackling Grief and Trauma with Creative Arts.
