DESCRIPTION:Past Events › Dance Performance            \n            \n                              \n                \n                  Dance Performance                \n                          \n          \n\n          \n            \n              \n                \n              \n                              Buy Tickets\n                          \n            \n              share            \n          \n\n          \n            \n                              Rasā Arts\, a South Indian classical vocalist and dancer duo\, invites you to experience a journey from the structured\, temple-rooted traditions of the genre to the expansive realm of personal expression\, emotion\, and liberation. \nAccompanied by violinist Sameth Sitaram and percussionist Prakash Rao playing an Indian drum called the Mridangam\, the duo will perform pieces full of gods\, stories\, and chants rooted in devotion and mythology\, and gradually move towards compositions that express inner experience\, human relationships\, and the soul’s quest for freedom. Through this arc\, Rasā Arts hopes to show how classical forms are not rigid containers\, but living traditions that evolve\, expand\, and ultimately liberate both artist and audience. Additionally\, they hope to demonstrate how divinity is not just an external presence to be worshipped\, but an inner force that fuels resilience\, equity\, transformation\, and joy. \nRasā Arts is a collaboration between Carnatic vocalist Radhika Krishnaraj and Bharatanatyam dancer Sneha Ramachandran\, bringing South Indian classical music and dance to life through soulful\, immersive performances. Rooted in tradition and shaped for today’s audiences\, Rasā Arts aims to share the beauty of these timeless art forms with the world.
