About Kahlil Kwame Bell:
Bell plays over 1,000 percussion instruments, including an innovative percussion instrument called the slappaphone. He has been described as “one of the most prolific musicians in the industry today”, having almost 90 recordings with numerous musical icons and legends. Besides Roberta Flack, he has also toured with Erykah Badu, Prince, Luther Vandross, Wynton Marsalis, and many others. His work with other musicians, as well as his own compositions, can be heard almost daily on jazz and world music radio programs worldwide.
