Initially published by the Editorial Board of Jewish Currents as a three part article, “Missis-sippi Freedom Summer - Fifty Years Later,” brought to light the history and never before published images by photographer Mark Levy and others regarding the events of the summer of 1964. On view for the month of July, this traveling exhibition created by Lawrence Bush and the Editorial Board of Jewish Currents, retells the story of Freedom Summer and the lessons history teaches us regarding contem-porary social injustices. Below are select images from the show.
