Moshe Banai is a professor emeritus at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, The City University of New York. He has received his Ph.D. degree in Management from the London Business School in England, M.Sc. degree from Tel Aviv University, and B.A. from Ben-Gurion University. He has taught at Alpen-Adria Klagenfurt University, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Danube University at Krems, and Vienna University of Commerce and Law in Austria, Berlin School of Business and Law in Germany, Tel-Aviv University in Israel, the London Business School in England, InterAmericana University in Puerto Rico, Kazan State University in Russia, Kiev National University of Design and Technology in Ukraine, International Academy of Business in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Shanghai University of Science and Technology and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) in China, and Sydney Business School in Australia. Courses taught at the Ph.D., MBA, Executives, and Undergraduate levels included Comparative Management in China and the USA, International Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Negotiation, Leadership, Business Research and others.

Moshe Banai is an expert in the field of Global Management, covering topics such as Management of Multinational Corporations, International Human Resource Management, Organization’s Strategy and Design, and Management Development. He has consulted with major international and domestic organizations worldwide. In addition, he has served as a Human Resource Director for an international bank in London.

Moshe Banai has conducted international and comparative studies in domestic and multinational corporations worldwide, the findings of which were published in 80 academic journals and books’ chapters. The topics of the studies include “Foreign country organizations expectations of expatriate managers” (in Belgium, Britain, France, Germany and the Netherlands) “The impact of the transition from a centrally planned economy to a free market economy on people’s behavior in organizations” (in China, Cuba, Germany, Hungary, Israel, and Russia) and “international negotiation” (in Austria, China, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Peru and Turkey). Moshe Banai is the Editor of the academic journal International Studies of Management and Organization.
